Causeway or Second Link? We break down the pros and cons of each so you can pick the fastest route for your trip.
Singapore has two land checkpoints into Malaysia — Woodlands Causeway and Tuas Second Link. Most travelers default to Woodlands because it's older and more familiar. But that's not always the right call.
Woodlands is closer to JB City Centre, Mid Valley Southkey, AEON Bukit Indah and most central JB destinations. The downside: it's also the busier checkpoint, especially on weekends and public holidays.
Tuas Second Link offers faster access to Legoland Malaysia, Iskandar Puteri, Forest City and the western/coastal parts of Johor including Desaru. It's typically less congested, especially during peak weekend hours.
Our drivers monitor live traffic feeds before departing and pick the best checkpoint for your specific destination and timing. If you have a preference, mention it when booking — otherwise we'll route for the smoothest crossing.
